New single ‘Halo’ out on the streamers this week from the forthcoming album, Rotsler’s Rules. The track started as a Bakehouse studio jam with Graeme Pogson engineering and drumming on his basic kit plus Ev Tweedy on bass. With a simple sequence worked up on a Jupiter 8 and ’80’s style drum hits via an Akia MPC 2000, we then turned it into a short, weird pop song about a happily medicated girl which seemed to make sense. It’s also time to rehabilitate the name Karen which seems to have taken a hit over the past couple of years.
