Performing Suicide’s legendary first LP on Friday Jan 4th to support PurePop’s aim to soundproof their great live space against pesky music haters who live in downtown St Kilda. We’re geared up with a borrowed Farfisa plus actual sounds from a Roland CR-78 Analog Drum Machine (Suicide used a Seagram’s rhythm machine which is impossible to find, but quickly moved to the CR78 for subsequent releases and performances).
It’s sounding pretty authentic and we’ll try and keep the performance true to the vibe of the album as best we can. This was first the album to truly blow my tiny mind and still does today…
